A ramble to Africa
For the second year, Royal/Dutch Shell and The Economist together ran an essay competition to encourage thinking and debate about the future, this time in the broad field of transport and travel. The competition was entitled “Going faster—but where?” The judging panel chose eight prizewinners. The first prize of $20,000 was won by Mari Rhydwen.
